Definitely A Life Changing Experience
I had been wearing glasses and contact lenses from a very young age. I hated wearing my glasses and how I looked in them.
To remedy this problem, I opted to wear contact lenses.
With contact lenses came a host of new problems. I could only wear my contact lenses for a short period of time as they made my eyes extremely dry, leading to eye irritation and headaches.
I always carried my glasses with in case I had to take my lenses out for some reason or one got lost. And then there was also the cost factor; glasses and contact lenses are expensive, so I would be paying for these throughout my life.
I did think about laser eye surgery over the years, but I was afraid of the procedure and possible side effects.
As more friends and acquaintances started to undergo treatment, I seriously considered it and decided to take the plunge. I had my treatment in September 2012.
As soon as I came out of the treatment room my vision was better than it ever was without my glasses. Within a few days my vision in each eye was better than 20/20.
This is honestly the best decision I have made and definitely a life-changing experience.
